Accessibility Statement
Flynaut is committed to ensuring www.flynaut.com is accessible to all people, including individuals with disabilities. Accessibility is embedded in our design and development process.
1. Our Commitment to Accessibility
Flynaut LLC (“Flynaut,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to ensuring that our website, www.flynaut.com, is accessible to all people, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that the web should be inclusive by design, and we recognize our responsibility to provide equal access to the information, services, and functionality on our website.
Accessibility is not a feature we add at the end. It is a principle embedded in our design and development process from the very beginning.
2. Accessibility Standard We Follow
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the standard:
- Referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice in its April 2024 final rule updating Title II of the ADA
- Consistent with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
- Recognized as the benchmark for ADA Title III compliance in private sector litigation
- Required by the European Accessibility Act (EAA), effective June 2025
- Adopted by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) in Canada
2.1 Perceivable
Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive. Every non-decorative image has descriptive alt text. Text has sufficient color contrast (minimum 4.5:1 ratio for normal text, 3:1 for large text). Content does not rely solely on color to convey information.
2.2 Operable
All functionality is available from a keyboard. Users are never trapped in a component. No content flashes more than three times per second. Animation respects the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Touch targets are at least 44x44 CSS pixels.
2.3 Understandable
Content is written in clear, plain language. Navigation is consistent across pages. Interactive elements behave predictably. Forms include clear labels, instructions, and error messages.
2.4 Robust
Our website uses semantic HTML5 elements. Where native HTML is insufficient, we use ARIA attributes following the first rule of ARIA: do not use ARIA if a native HTML element can do the job. We test with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.
3. Specific Accessibility Features
3.1 Navigation and Structure
- Skip to main content link as the first focusable element on every page
- Consistent navigation structure across all pages
- Logical heading hierarchy (H1 > H2 > H3) with no skipped levels
- Descriptive, unique page titles
- ARIA landmark roles on structural elements
3.2 Visual Design
- Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.2 Level AA minimums
- Text resizable up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Content reflows properly at different viewport widths (320px minimum)
- Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements (minimum 2px solid outline)
3.3 Images and Media
- All meaningful images have descriptive alt text

prefers-reduced-motionis enabled
3.4 Forms and Interactive Elements
