  • Location based marketing is an interesting topic for 2016. I see a lot of brands being challenges with that especially related to the beacon hype we seen this year. Marketers need to remember that while beacons as a location based strategy are really cool. However to communicate with smartphones marketers to ensure their Brands have some sort of app. Then they need to have a large app install base to get a good ROI on their efforts.. For companies like Target or Walmart location marketing might be easy, for a smaller firm or brand without a strong install based it can be a challenge.
